Just came back from the trip to Budapest. We stayed at Golden Stars Royal Apartment from March 15th to 21st and we were very pleased. Due to the problem with the Air Portugal’s flight, we arrived the Budapest airport 33 hours late! Since the flight will be arriving at 11pm and we had never been to Budapest, I called Tomas (the owner) while I was waiting for the connecting flight at Frankfult to re-arrange the airport pickup. After we walked out the custom area, we found the driver holding a sign with my name on it. When we got there at the apartment around midnight, Tomas was standing outside the building waiting for us! He was very understanding and agreed to extend our stay for 1 more day. He also gave us a lot of valuable information and advice on things to do in Budapest.
The location of the apartment is the best. It’s close to Metro station, supermarket, banks and the famous Vaci Utca. It’s also very close to the Great Market Hall where we went everyday to pick up fruits and past
