23/10/12 Villa Xemxija is a great place to stay. Over several years we spent our holidays alone or with friends in different apartments of Villa Xemxija. All apartments are well maintained and extraordinary clean. Manoel and his wife Pauline are very nice hosts. They are always available and eager to help. The pleasure starts with planning the holidays on Gozo because Manoel makes all the arrangements from the pick up at the airport to the car rental on Gozo, if needed. Villa Ximxija is nicely located in walking distance to all the Xlendi restaurants. However, the Villa is located on a hill -- you will get some excercise walking uphill.

20/06/12 We enjoyed the holiday in Villa Xemxija so much that barely having reached home we already miss the sunsets on the cozy balcony of the villa.

25/06/12 Hele fijne vriendelijke binnenkomst in een mooi appartement (#3) binnen een erg mooie villa. Lekker ruim, eigen balkonnetje en een paar stappen van het zwembad. Beneden bij de baai heerlijk uit eten of zelf lekker kokkerellen met lokale producten. Eigenaar Mancel zeer behulpzaam en kan indien nodig heel veel regelen. Hij was altijd goed bereikbaar. We waren daar met zijn tweeën in de eerste week van juni. Nog niet erg druk rond die tijd. De airco unit hebben we niet nodig gehad, het was bijna 30 graden die week.

18/03/13 Wir waren bereits 4 mal in Xlendi immer in anderen Unterkünften, durch Zufall sind wir letztes Jahr bei Manoel in der Villa Xemxija gelandet. Zum ersten mal waren wir von der Unterkunft rundum begeistert. Die Zimmer sind Zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Manoel der Besitzer ist mehrfach täglich vor Ort und sieht nach dem rechten, bei Fragen steht er immer gerne mit Tat zur Verfügung und wenn keine Fragen sind hat er immer Zeit für ein wenig " small talk" . Der Aufenthalt für 2013 ist schon gebucht.

18/04/12 This accommodation is fantastic and great value for money. We had a lovely balcony with table, chairs & loungers overlooking the pool and garden. The place was very close to the beach & local restaurants but was in a quiet spot. We had facilities for simple self catering which was good for making breakfast. Customer service was great and the host was very friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here!

18/09/11 We've just got back from a 6 day break in Gozo - and what a pleasure it was.

As soon as we chose to stay at Villa Xemxija, I encountered the warmth and hospitality of Manoel Bajada!. He was extremely accommodating before our arrival, assisting with airport transfers and offering car hire information.

The roof top terrace of Villa Xemxija was a dream! The apartment was light, airy, clean and surprisingly not too hot. We loved the quaint village of Xlendi and ventured to Sandblast Bay and the beach at Ramla when we acquired a rental car (courtesy of Manoel).

The weather was great but the trip was memorable because everything was so smooth - thanks to Manoel. If I have a few days to spare, I will definitely return to Villa Xemxija!

16/09/11 Have just returned from a lovely, relaxing holiday in Villa Xemxija, Xlendi. The owners: Pauline and Manoel couldn't have been more accommodating. They are always available if you need anything, but are never intrusive. They can also arrange for car hire, a food pack and transfers if required.
The pool is a great size, and is never busy, despite the 6 other apartments in the villa. The jacuzzi is lovely too.
Our apartment was clean, large and had everything we needed (including corkscrew for the very tasty local wine). We had a stunning view over the pool and the sea.
We will definitely be returning next year.
I highly recommend Villa Xemxija!!!!

28/08/11 We had a relaxing chilled out holiday here. Apartment and pool was very clean and had everything we needed. Manoel and Pauline are superb hosts and helped us out with doctors, extra accommodation etc when our son was sick and we had to stay longer than planned. Xlendi is a very small town with stunning swimming locations off the rocks and a tiny beach, lack of sand was actually a bonus as the kids spent most of time in the water! Even thought it was peak season never felt too crowded. It was a trek uphill from the town to the apartment but jumping into the pool after the walk was great.
Top tip - make sure you've got arm bands or swimming noodles if you are going with kids then you can all enjoy the deeper water in the bay for swimming.

21/07/11 We spent a family holiday in this accommodation and really liked it. The owners, Manoel and Pauline, were extremely friendly and always available to address any query or problem that needed fixing. We stayed in the duplex apartment, which has a terrace on the roof of the villa, including a barbecue. The apartment was very nice, very clean and very comfortable. The apartment also included a washing machine, which was very handy. The villa contains other apartments, and has a shared swimming pool, which is quite rare on Gozo. The location was also great: waling distance from Xlendi Bay, a wonderful sheltered bay where we could easily swim and cool off during the hot part of the day. We had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely like to go back.

25/10/10 Great location. My only suggestion - a welcome pack would have been a bonus, particularly when one arrives at 11pm
