Pokoje byly uklízeny denně a pokoje byly velmi dobře vybaveny.
Cosmopolitan Hotel is a good deal. It is a short 5-6min walk to the CauseWay Bay or Wan Chai stations. It's pretty quiet. The staff was friendly, helpful, and all spoke english. They were also gay friendly. The room was small - but most hotel rooms in Hong Kong are small, so that's to be expected. Maid service was reliable and accomodating since we liked to sleep in. I'd consider staying here again on another trip to Hong Kong - it is one of the nicer, but less expensive hotels in the area.
Great hotel, modern, clean, comfortable.
Was put in room 927 - next to the lifts (ping, clunk, crash) and the air con unit outside, which made the walls vibrate and a low frequency but loud hum. Not nice. No chance of sllep there then.
So called reception requesting a room change. No problems. Bellboy came and took my bags, up to 1205. Peaceful, quite, great nights sleep. "I don't think number 27 is very good - too noisy always" he said.
12 floor is a mixed smoking / nonsmoking floor but my room was fine. In fact, corridor smell was diminished by the morning anyway.
Loads of hot water, typical Chinese bed (a bit harder than western hotels), nice bathrooms. No sniffiness at reception when I declined the room upgrade (380HKD+Tax).
Will be looking to go back when next in town.
